October 2017 - to date
TUTOR IN THE BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS STUDY TRACK OF KIRON OPEN HIGHER EDUCATION, BERLIN, GERMANY
I teach refugees from around the world in a virtual classroom once a week in the courses 'Introduction to Business' and 'College Algebra'
This entails preparing slide sets for each week and responding to students' questions via Skype or email
August 2017 - February 2018
MENTOR IN THE STARTHILFE - SCHÃœLERCOACHING PROJECT FROM THE AWO, HAMBURG, GERMANY
I supported an 18-year old refugee in his responsibilities at school (e.g. I helped him with homework, exam preparation and the writing of cover letters for internship applications)
He graduated from high school at the top of his class
July 2017 - January 2018
EVALUATION OFFICER AT ROCK YOUR LIFE! HAMBURG E.V., HAMBURG, GERMANY
Provided support in school to students from less fortunate family backgrounds
Analysed and recorded the students' evaluations of their relationship with the mentor
